Position Description: The Executive Assistant to operations is responsible for providing an advanced level of administrative, secretarial, and operational support within the operations division. This Executive Assistant will serve as a clerical and administrative resource for OneLegacy clinical operations and training and educational departments. Qualifications: Our ideal candidate must have three (3) years related experience as an executive assistant. A four year college or university degree is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of four (4) years experience in a medical or case management environment. Experience as an advanced administrative support professional in a medical/clinical setting is required. A licensed vocational nurse (LVN), medical assistant certification/experience is preferred.     Training Specialist
    OneLegacy, the non-profit organ and tissue recovery organization serving the seven-county greater Los Angeles area, has an immediate career opportunity for a Training Specialist - Full Time in our corporate office. Position Description: The Training Specialist (TS) is responsible for assisting with the education and training of OneLegacy staff, training documentation and staff training files. The TS will work collaboratively with all department managers and preceptors to ensure education and training needs have been met, training is taking place in accordance with AD01.21 OneLegacy Training and Documentation and ensures the completion of training documentation. The TS will assist the Manager of Training (MT) with training, documentation, and maintenance of training files, and ensures that the process is performed in accordance with AD01.21 OneLegacy Training and Documentation. The TS will assist with the New Hire Training Program; the staff meetings, and all the general requirements during the New Hire Training Program. The TS will assist the MT to maintain the structure of the training program, and ensure all staffs are properly trained. The TS is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of educational classes and the educational calendar and will communicate with management and staff regarding classes that will be offered with OneLegacy. The TS will assist with offering continuing education units and helping staff keep up their credits. The TS will assist with the development and implementation of the Preceptor Program and will work with the department managers collaboratively to assist with training and education for the preceptor. The TS will support the MT in setting the expectations of the preceptors and work with management to ensure that the expectations are met. The TS will assist the MT in working with management and preceptors to maintain structured training schedules and to identify areas in need of training, and will enforce the schedule with all departments and staff. The TS will need to write and revise Policies and Procedures as assigned by the MT and assist in the peer review. The TS will assist in managing the Event and CAPA system for Operations and work with management during the investigation process to identify root cause analysis, and determination of corrective action. The TS will utilize the Event and CAPA system as a learning tool and information resource for the staff to gain knowledge about and learn from mistakes that have happened. The TS will also use the Event and CAPA system as an opportunity for process improvement. Qualifications: Highly qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (BS) from an accredited four-year college or university, completion of Surgical Technologist or EMT program, and/or training in an affiliated health or mortuary sciences field. A minimum of three (3) years recovery experience in the organ/tissue banking and/or critical care nursing experience is required. Registered Nurse credential and previous experience as a clinical trainer is preferred. CEBT and CTBS certification are required. A current state driver’s license, auto insurance based on state minimal insurance coverage standards and reliable automotive transportation is required.     Procurement Transplant Coordinator
    OneLegacy, the non-profit organ and tissue recovery organization serving the seven-county greater Los Angeles area, has an immediate career opportunity for a Procurement Transplant Coordinator - Full Time in our Redlands Office. Position Description: The PTC will perform all aspects of organ procurement from the initial hospital referral, through the organ recovery procedure, transportation of organs, and post-donor follow-up. The PTC is required to assume 24-hour “on-call” responsibility in rotation with other organ procurement staff. Call time varies by service area, fluctuations in donor activity, and staff turnover. Must possess the ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision, exercise initiative, judgment, and make decisions within the scope of assigned authority. Interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills, the ability to make public presentations and a working knowledge of office equipment are a must; physical stamina, including the ability to function in this capacity for 36-hours and lifting up to 50 lbs is required. The PTC is occasionally required to travel by personal auto or air to meeting sites and may be required to travel both in and out of state by personal auto, rental car, or air in order to meet the duties and responsibilities of the position; and is also expected to drive his/her auto at least 20,000 miles per year for job related ground transportation. Company reimbursement for personal auto use while on the job is consistent with IRS guidelines. Qualifications: Qualified candidates must have Critical Care Patient Management (ICU, OR, ER) experience; BS/BSN/CPTC is preferred. Position Description: The Per Diem Surgical Recovery Technician II is responsible for all aspects of tissue recovery arrangement and performing recovery of eye tissue at hospitals, coroner facilities, and funeral homes. Additionally, this position will act as a vital member of the recovery team in a position of excising technician or back-table technician for the aseptic surgical recovery of all tissues and perform laboratory and office duties. Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (BS) from an accredited four-year college or university. Must have one (1) year related experience/training in an allied health or mortuary sciences field. Current Surgical Recovery Technician I with OneLegacy, or equivalent experience with another tissue bank required. CEBT and CTBS certifications preferred. Medical or technical background required, such as MD, RN, LPN, MT, MLT, EMT, PA, OR Tech or Associates degree in related field.     Donor Information Coordinator

Position Description: The Donor Information Coordinator (DIC) is primarily responsible for the completion of the donor case file in a timely manner and in accordance with OneLegacy policies and procedures and regulatory requirements by performing the initial complete review, obtaining corrections from OneLegacy Recovery staff, Organ staff, or STATLine, obtaining required documentation from agencies such as hospitals, ME/Coroner’s offices, processors, laboratories, or other relevant government entities, and confirming that the donor case file is correct, accurate, and complete prior to forwarding to QS for the final review. The Donor Information Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of donor information in donor databases. The Donor Information Coordinator will work with the Manager of Donor Information to meet pre-determined chart completion goals. Performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with policies and procedures, regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, and other applicable federal, state, and local laws. Performs on-call responsibilities.
