Donate Life Rose Parade Float

Since 2004, the Donate Life float has added an emotional and deeply meaningful dimension to "America's New Year Celebration", the Rose Parade. Proudly coordinated by OneLegacy staff and supported by hundreds of area volunteers, the Donate Life float is the centerpiece of a national media campaign to inspire tens of millions of people throughout the nation and the world to save and heal lives as organ, eye and tissue donors.

Each year, Donate Life's lovingly crafted float carries a contingent of riders -- transplant recipients, living donors and family members of deceased donors -- dozens of memorial "floragraph" portraits of deceased organ and tissue donors integrated into the float design, and hundreds of dedicated roses with messages of love, hope and remembrance.

We hope the sincerity and spectacle of Donate Life's annual Rose Parade float entry and the hundreds of news stories chronicling its journey inspire parade spectators and viewers to join the more than 100 million Americans who have registered as organ, eye and tissue donors.
