Donate Life Ambassadors to Cities
When it comes to promoting the Donate Life mission on a local level, Donate Life Ambassadors are key to opening doors with community organizations that are at the center of civic life. City councils, service clubs, high schools, community colleges, houses of worship, hospitals, fire and police departments, and family festivals are all appropriate venues to inspire people to donate life.
Donate Life Ambassadors to Cities take a leadership role in building relationships that make it possible to effectively and efficiently inspire the community.
DMV/Donate Life California Month Proclamations
Each April, National Donate Life Month is observed statewide as DMV/Donate Life California Month. Events and activities in our diverse communities focus attention on the Donate Life California Organ & Tissue Donor Registry and the DMV's essential role as the registry's primary enrollment channel. Donate Life Ambassadors to Cities take the lead in proposing DMV/Donate Life California Month resolutions by more than 100 city councils and county supervisors. These proclamations offer an opportunity to make a brief address before an influential audience, some of whom will become the state leaders of tomorrow.
