Donate Life Ambassadors to DMV
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is essential to our life-saving mission. About 98 percent of the designated donors on the Donate Life California Registry enroll through the DMV driver's license and ID card application process. In many cases, DMV field office clerks personally enter the donation decision into the system. Thus, Donate Life California, OneLegacy and our collaborators statewide have made it a priority to establish and maintain a personal relationship with DMV management and field offices.
Donate Life Ambassadors to the DMV "adopt" field offices in their neighborhoods and personally thank DMV employees for the impact their partnership has had on the registry. Quarterly visits to the DMV field offices allow them to share their personal stories, celebrate registry milestones, and engage local newspapers to publicize DMV's important role in saving lives.

Ambassadors George and Lucille Miller and employees of the Santa Paula DMV field office celebrate six million donors enrolled in the Donate Life California Registry.
