About OneLegacy

Organ, eye and tissue donation in the United States is more than just a pink donor dot on your driver's license – there is a well-established and experienced network of federally-designated, non-profits across the country, called Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs), all working together to save lives.

OneLegacy is the nation's largest OPO, serving the diverse Southern California region. Working with hospitals, physicians, transplant centers and the community, OneLegacy educates about and facilitates donation, as well as builds a community of long-term support for the families who give the generous gift of life.

Our Mission: Saving Lives and Sharing Hope
OneLegacy carries out its mission of saving more lives and sharing hope amongst those waiting for a donation by upholding a set of core values:
Integrity
Our lifesaving work relies on public trust. Therefore, we practice transparent, honest, and ethical behavior in all interactions and hold ourselves to the highest standards.
Compassion
In every situation, we are empathetic with and advocate for the donor, donor family, and recipients, ensuring that final wishes are honored, families are comforted, and waiting recipients receive lifesaving and healing transplants.
Stewardship
We are accountable for and committed to the responsible use of our resources, so we can fulfill our mission, support our communities and prepare for the future.
Diversity & Inclusion
We seek to be representative of the communities we serve in order to ensure respect and dignity for our donors, their families, donation partners, and our staff. We believe in the inherent worth of all people.
Urgency
Our constant efforts to improve our outcomes are driven by a sense of urgency to save and heal the lives of those on the waitlists.
Innovation & Excellence
We strive to be at the forefront of our field, recognized as an industry leader, and passionate about saving and healing lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation.
Collaboration
We honor every donor's decision to save and heal lives by uniting partners in our community to fulfill that decision.
